Picture this, you're working in a store during a night shift. Recently released from your high-end job, deciding whether the last packet of crisps will fit on the shelf or if you will have to put it on top of the shelf taking up precious space, knowing you'll need it later on.
Thinking about where you're life has gone at the age of 28. You work your shift and feel sorry for yourself because your life up to that point was quite ideal. Working your way up the corporate ladder to senior management to now finding yourself not. Still thankful that during the autumn of 2020 you have a job you could fall back on, but it isn't what you want.
You know you want to change something in your life. You know you don't want to work for someone anymore. You know you want to make a difference and want to change the world for the better in some way, even the smallest possible way. Crisp packet after crisp packet, you decide what that change is. A brand that focuses on the environment, one that works with suppliers that source sustainable Fabric materials that don't take hundreds of years to biodegrade. But know think about that brand, what comes to mind? Maybe some sort of hippy type person with a hemp jeans and a worse for wear vest. That is what we didn't want.
Dzihic was created during that late night shift as a brand that focuses on sustainability and the so called 'slow fashion' world. But without the chains of being considered 'hippy'. Instead Dzihic focuses on designs that are current and embraces fashion trends without being afraid to branch out and make it's own way. But with the added benefit of all our clothes supporting our world and not clogging up the oceans and landfills.
As a start-up we have a lot to learn, and a lot to build. But we know where we're heading and what our ultimate goal is. Whether it takes us 10 years or 100 years, we'll get there. But we need help. That is why Dzihic takes special care to look after our clients. Through monthly and bi-annual deals to just being thankful for all those that wear us. We want to thank everyone.
